5 Steps of An Automatic Filling And Sealing Machine

A machine that holds the packing bag roll and fillers in a fixed quantity and then starts filling plus packaging task without any manual interference is known as automatic packing and filling machine.

These machines can be used for granules, snacks and powder packaging. These machines can pack 500-to 1000 Kurkure pouches per hour in the weight of 10-50 grams per pouch. The work efficiency of these machines can amaze anyone. These machines perform in 5 steps which are given below:
  • Loading and Griping: In some machines filling is done separately and then sealing is done. Auger filling machine is the best example of such type of machines. In the automatic filling and sealing machine loading of packing bags are done in required quantity to pack the sufficient pouches. Once loading is done, packaging bags are transferred to a gripper to set the bag in an appropriate way.
  • Printing and Embossing: this step is optional. In some cases already printed bags are used for filling and sealing. So as per the company interest and type of machinery printing and embossing is done in this step.
  • Bag Opening: Opening jaws are used to open the pouch by separating outward. Once the sensor detects the presence of the pouch, opening jaws automatically start performing their task.
  • Product Filling: Open pouches are referred to the filling section with the help of filling apparatus and filling section the filling of the product inaccurate measurement has become possible. Type of content required a method of filling.
  • Settling Sealing and Deflation: Sometimes to settle the content of the pouch a light shaking is required. Shaking is done in next station before sealing the pouch.  Once the content is settled well and the pouch is ready to pack, sealing and deflation is done to separate the attached pouches.
After the above-mentioned procedures, a cooling bar passes to give a final touch to the sealed pouch. This is how the automatic filling and sealing machines perform and we enjoy eating fresh and crispy snacks and other eatables.
